Evian celebrates its bicentennial with a Jeff Koons collector’s series and a chance for consumers to win exclusive prizes.
Before hydration became something people tracked on smartwatches and wellness found its way into every conversation, Evian was simply doing what it has always done. Water from the French Alps spends years slowly filtering through layers of glacial rock before reaching the bottle, a process that has shaped its distinctive mineral composition for two centuries.
Now celebrating its 200th anniversary, Evian is marking the occasion with a collector’s series that looks as considered as the water inside. Leading the celebrations is a collaboration with contemporary artist Jeff Koons, whose unmistakable Balloon Dog appears across one of four limited-edition 500ml bottle designs. The collection also pays tribute to different chapters of Evian’s story, from its Alpine origins and heritage to its long-standing ties with tennis.
The bicentennial celebrations extend to Malaysia, too. Until 31 July 2026, purchasing any two bottles of Evian natural mineral water in a single receipt lets consumers enter the ‘200 Years Young Buy & Win Contest’, with prizes including a Disney Adventure Cruise for two and weekly Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits.
Two hundred years is an impressive run for any brand. Then again, when your main ingredient has never been in a rush, patience starts to look like a pretty good strategy.
