Who says raves are only for the night? Dôme Café turned up the daylight energy with a caffeine-fuelled celebration for World Coffee Day, complete with lattes, pastries, and the best throwback tunes.
Imagine a rave, but swap the neon-lit night for daylight and the vodka shots for steaming cups of coffee. Welcome to the coffee rave, where caffeine is the only fuel you need and the dance floor comes alive to ’90s and millennial hits.

Dôme Café teamed up with us for our very first coffee rave in celebration of World Coffee Day, turning it’s The Intermark store into a full-on daytime dance zone. The energy was electric as guests from all over the city came together to sip, sway, and celebrate the shared love of coffee.
Baristas kept the rhythm going with Dôme’s signature brews—from the bold Long Black to the smooth Latte and the ever-popular Matcha. Between songs, guests refuelled with irresistible bites that kept spirits high: soft carrot cake, flaky puff pastries, savoury frankie rolls, and dangerously good chocolate brownies.

The DJs brought the beats, each one setting the tempo for a caffeine-fuelled afternoon. Prem, familiar to many from his gig at Hitz FM, led the charge with his blend of hip-hop, R&B, and pop hits. DJ Ayana and Kid Kally kept the momentum pulsing with their own high-energy mixes that had everyone moving.

By the end of the day, the crowd left Dôme Café buzzing—not from alcohol, but from caffeine, good music, and better company. Guests took home goodie bags packed with treats from Dôme, Fred Perry, The Golden Duck, Calpis, XO Teas, and Auresso, along with the inaugural issue of the Palate Annual Guide.
Our first coffee rave was more than just a party. It was a caffeine-charged celebration of connection, community, and good vibes. This is also proof that you don’t need a bar to have a blast. Here’s to more raves, more coffee, and more mornings that start with a dance beat.
