The 2025 World’s 50 Best Bars 51–100 celebrates diversity with 34 cities represented—and Asia makes its presence felt, from Hong Kong’s stalwarts to fresh finds in Sri Lanka, Seoul, and Taichung.
The stage is set for The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, and with the extended 51–100 list just announced, Asia is already having a moment. This year’s line-up spans 34 cities and 16 new entries, but what really stands out is how strongly our region is represented, with 12 bars in Asia making the cut!

Closer to home, the four cities leading the charge just a hop and skip away are Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore. Hong Kong takes the crown for Asia this year with three bars on the list (its strongest showing since 2019): Argo (No.56), new arrival Gokan (No.70), and The Savory Project (No.86). Tokyo brings its signature craft with The SG Club (No.65) and the return of Bar Trench (No.94). Of course, Bangkok is on everyone’s lips and sips thanks to fresh entries Dry Wave Cocktail Studio (No.88) and Opium (No.92). Meanwhile, Singapore holds steady with Native (No.84)—a bar that continues to define sustainability and creativity behind the counter.

Beyond these cities (that are no longer than a three-hour flight from KL), the list stretches across the continent with Bar Cham (No.53) in Seoul, Smoke & Bitters (No.67) in Sri Lanka, Vender (No.74) in Taichung, and Lair (No.96) in New Delhi. All entries that tell their own stories of local flavour and passion through the art of drink.
With the live countdown of the Top 50 set for 8 October 2025 in Hong Kong, the excitement is palpable and one thing is clear: Asia has proven itself a force to be reckoned with on the global bar scene.
Of course, Europe is the all-around regional winner of the extended list at 15 entries, where Spain and Italy shine especially bright, each with four bars making the cut. Across the pond, the USA once again tops the Americas with eight bars. It’s a global roll call of excellence, and the full extended list awaits below.
