As the beverage scene evolves, we round up the newest cafés and bar menus to have on your radar.
Welcome back to Thirst Traps, a series dedicated to exploring Klang Valley’s newest cafés and bar menus in the name of research—so you’re in safe, if slightly buzzed, hands. This round, we bring you a wave of fresh openings and menus worth your attention. Here are the newest cafés and bar menus making their mark across the city.

Fade by SB 2.0 is the second chapter of the much-loved neighbourhood café by founders Sam and Bernie. After nearly three years in its cosy PJ New Town space, the café has closed that chapter and moved into a much roomier Scandinavian-style bungalow in Section 16, Petaling Jaya.
The new space keeps the same laid-back spirit, just with more room to settle in. Fan favourites, including the signature Iced Moo and Hot White are still on the menu, because some things are worth bringing along for the move.

103 Coffee at The Exchange TRX marks the specialty coffee brand’s highly anticipated sixth outlet, bringing a little Malaysian soul to the usual minimalist café scene. Spread across two levels, the space takes cues from the warmth and craftsmanship of traditional Rumah Warisan, with a sleek timber-framed design that feels contemporary without losing its local character. As for what to order, don’t leave without trying the J Cloud, Spark, and Cole—three of the menu’s must-try drinks.

This brick-and-mortar café is the latest chapter for a coffee brand that started life as a boutique mobile specialty coffee concept, popping up at local spaces and bazaars including Floristika, Lot 10 and MAHSA Avenue.
At the counter, expect rotating guest beans from roasters such as The Hub, alongside Melbourne-style coffee staples including the Magic: a short, silky milk coffee that sits somewhere between a piccolo and a flat white.

October keeps Four Sibling’s rooftop moving from golden hour into late night, culminating on 31 October with Dead Famous—The Hall of Legends, a glamorous Halloween celebration inspired by some of music and pop culture’s most unforgettable icons. Expect exciting cocktails like Flor do Mar, Raw Instinct, and Rhapsody in Gold, each representing late Hollywood stars.
